A... 1 ge an rea c oo s May, 1959 Dear Students: All high school students look forward with great anticipation to the issuance of the annual year book. There is always a certain amount of excitement connected with each student's desire to see how his picture looks and to read about his achievements in the various phases of the curriculum. However, there should be an even greater significance connected to the ex- citement, and that is the fact that the annual portrays another year of educational development and growth to all the students of the high school. As we look at the pictures and read the articles printed herein, we should not only thrill at the gaiety and fun the various activities have brought to our student body, but we should also respect the purpose and educational value these activities have given our students. Let us not forget the actual production of the year book. The staff members and the ad- visor have devoted many long hours of work in the many areas that are necessary to bring the entire material into this book we call the Bahian. As in the past, this book reflects much serious thinking, many hours of work, and a lot of leadership on the part of our annual staff and the advisor. It is my hope that this year's Bahian will L5 make you proud of our achievements and that it L5 f will serve as a lasting memento of the achieve- ments of Barron Senior High School for the year 1958-59.
