THE UNIVERSE CHANGES,' BUT OUR LIVES ARE WHAT OUR THOUGHTS MAKE IT. The first big day in Barron High for the grads of 1952 was initiation on November 5, 1948, followed by a mixer party that night. The Sno-Ball with Gladys Barrett reigning as queen and David Ellefson as king, was the main event of our Sophomore year. Then we come to our junior year with the drama, Wings of the Morning, our class play, as one of the top happenings of the year. The other being the Prom, with Lea Halvorson and joan Sandve reigning. To bring to a close the four years, we have chosen the motto: The Universe Changesg But Our Lives Are What Our Thoughts Make It. Silver and Aqua were chosen as the class colorsg the flower, Pink Carnation. The class officers were: Treasurer, Audrey Burowg President, Eleanor Olsong Vice-President, Douglas Ritchieg and Secretary, Marlene johnson. I Pictured abovej. Pictured below we see Mr. Hoar's 5rd period Economics class all at attention learning the principles of Economics. .L l
