Evmmiffcc Ronald Lague, Beth Koenig, Ashley Peckham, Hannah Haynes, Not Pictured, Deborah Drollett, Chairman The Social Committee is a functional unit of the Student Association. lt is responsible for planning, programming, and convening social affairs that will bring the student body together for fun and enioyment. One needs such diversions lest he become deficient in such a vital part of his personality-the art of relaxation and occasional detachment from the responsibilities of academic studies. The Chairman of this Committee is appointed by the Student Senate. The Committee consists of two representatives elected from each of the four classes. Two of the ma- ior achievements of the Social Committee this year were the Student Association Ban- quet and the fourth annual Valentine Coronation. 95
