It takes an authority figure, who is capable of displaying patience and fairness, mixed with perserverance, to endure at the helm of a school as large as Barringer. Our Principal Ms. Rose Serra, has devoted many years of her life to the education of our children. She began her career at Barringer as a math teacher. Then she moved up to department chairperson, vice principal and finally Principal, While being involved daily in decision making with faculty members, guidance personnel, and outside groups, Ms. Serra has always been approachable by the student body. Whether she was standing at the front door in the morning greeting the students, or talking on the public address system, Ms. Serra made her presence known with a cheerful “Соод Morning”!

VICE PRINCIPALS - As the school year unfolds, a proportional rise occurs in the complexity and variety of administrative respon- sibilities. Shouldering the additional burdens, and as- suming an ever increasing role in school adminis- tration, are the vice principals. Each one supervises a certain phase of the work, thus dividing the tremen- dous task and assuring more efficient asministration in all areas.
