JOHNJ W GEIBEL ohnnit Business 'Vlanagcr uill I5 Business Manager Revue IJ German Play johnny is always pleasant and neat, For a business manager he's hard to beat. On Sunday nights and through the week You'll find him down on W -f - Street. Little Johnnie, the fade away blonde, who simply cannot keep from grinning. Always greets you in the pleasant way that shows his comfortable, optimistic view of life. His warm, affectionate nature may manifest itself in either a handshake. a knock out blow on the back or a hearty hug. He has the wonderful ability of being able to spend one half of his time out of school, having a good time and come back in mid-year and take off the honors. He, too, finds a great attraction on jackson street. Has served his class most excellently as business manager of the Quill and is deservedly popular. EUCENIA GRIFFITH Genie Hikers Club Assistant Artist Rewuc I Girls Class Basketball 14 I5 Girls Rooters Club. Tall as a goddess, with eyes of brown, Lovable, sweet and jolly. Fleet as the wind in basketball -'Athletics is her hobby. 'AGenie is the incorrigible, giant terrible who hatches plans for new tricks in basketball, even while she sleeps. She is blest with plenty of ability as a player in said game, and more than plenty of good looks. ln the Latin class she receives a call to translate with an air of startled surprise, and after ten minutes spent in deep thought, as to whether she has gotten just to or just throughi' the designated part. begins a long and rather original translation which is finally discovered to have been in one of last week's lessons. Deliberate. yea very deliberate in every thing she does, she is a friend to all. li FTIIFI D GRIFFIN Ethel Daw Girls Class Basketball I3 I4 I5 li ers Club Girls Rootcrs Club Ethel is loyal and true. And many friends has she won, And whatever task she undertook Was certainly well done. Ethel is a sweet girl, with a temper none too economical. a soul happy and kind and brain power in abundance. A steady, dependable girl, who will always get along. because she follows no will-o'-the-wisps but hews to the line unsweringly in all things. A quiet. reserved lady-reserved up to a certain flash-point. but then her temper flares up and it is best for everybody to seek cover. Can turn a book inside out and absorb its contents more thor- oughly and quickly than anybody living. A model girl in every respect, whom the Hen- derson high sehool will be proud to send into the world. .
