latin ,1 S Q X Veni, Vidi, Vici, is a famous Latin saying attributed to Julius Caesar but Mrs. Dyer has been heard issuing this famous proclamation in her Latin classes. Here we get the inside story of Mrs. Dyer and her Second Year Latin Class. Under Mrs. Dyer's sponsorship, the Latin Club, comprised of first and second year Latin students, holds an annual Roman Banquet. The first year students are slaves and must serve their masters, the second year Latin students. After all guests have had their fill, a slave auction is held with each slave going to the highest bidder. For the academic students this event is one of the highlights of the year.
