The French Club, with Miss Amelia Leconte as the advisor, is organized for the benefit of any student who has had at least one year of French study. The purpose of the club is to familiarize the mem- bers with the geography, customs, language, and living conditions of France. At the meetings the students learn French songs, folk dances, games, and they put on short plays in French. Also they have been receiving a magazine, La Revue Des Gensv, which contains short stories, puzzles, and games. Miss Leconte has told several interesting stories concerning her travels in France. Simon Cesin skillfully WS H grand night for Sillginglu directed this group of juniors and seniors. With new voices, especially in the bass section, the chorus in- creased its membership this year. Seventy-five singers caroled at the skating rink before Christmas. A spring program was also presented for the entertainment of all students and their parents.
