DRAMATIC CLUB In the days of chivalry those who were interested in drama attended a good miracle or morality play, but nowadays Barnstable High students with the same interests join the Dramatic Club, which has Mr. Elliot B. MacSwan as advisor. Although it is only in its second year, the Club has 104 members, all of whom are enthusiastic about the theater. The club has produced one highly successful play this year, Sunday Costs F ive Pesos, and will probably present another before the year is over. The cast of Sunday Costs F ive Pesos included Brenda Atwood, Mary Braun, Vittoria Colonna, Judy Duarte, and Gillette Alvin. f N.. aa QA I f I Xl Front: M. Flanagan, V. Alvin, M. ORCHESTRA This group of eighteen musicians under the baton of their energetic director, Simon Cesin, have, as in years before, blended melodies for some of our assemblies. They have accompanied the chorus in presenting a Christmas and later an Easter program. Through these programs the orchestra has brought better understand- ing and appreciation of standard and classical music to students, faculty, and parents. However, the seniors will remember the orchestra most for its playing at their graduation. FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA The Future Farmers of America, under the direction of Mr. Arnold Rogean, is an organization composed of boys who are interested in agriculture. The purpose of the club is to improve farming methods and to acquaint the boys with the problems of farming. This year the boys made small plants and put them in each homeroom for the Christmas season. This spring they plan to work on the school grounds. Front: A. Souza, W. Hinckley, H.
