TRAFFIC SQUAD HE Traffic Squad was formed three years ago by the Student Council Linder the direction of Mr. Henry Levinson. This group of honor students from the Barnstable Senior High has done a lane iob in keeping the corridors quiet and orderly. Chief Mar- shal for 1952-1955 was Jane XY'alley, while Floor lN1arshals were Shirley Lewis, Deborah Howes and john Alberghini. Other Seniors were Kathleen Sul- livin. Adrianne Petridis, David Campbell. Sally Greene. Rita Bray. lanet Ryder. Marianne Poole. Paul Thomas, and Sally Dixon. A great deal of the praise for the squad goes to Mr. Levinson, advisor X 2 for the students. S3 STUDENT COUNCIL HE Student Council is set up with the intent of promoting a more harmonious and co-operative relationship between the students and the administration. The primary activity of this past year was the writing of a constitution for a proposed chapter of the Barnstable High School Honor Society. Members of this new organization will be elected students who qualify in scholarship, service, leadership and character. Other activities supervised by the Council included class elections, nominations for Good Government Day representatives and ushering at Education Xweelc Open House, Under the able guidance of Mr. Henry Levinson of the faculty, the following served as officers: Sally Greene, President: -lacqueline Howe, Vice'President, and Elaine Murphy.
