The school board, faculty, and parents are all co-operating to give the children the best training and greatest advantages in order to make of them the high type of citizens that Amer- ica's future must have. The elementary school is the place where their foundation is established and it must be sound. Each of us must keep in mind that our children are our greatest wealth and the school is the most vital of all industries. The elementary division has gone far this year in meeting the goals of academic, moral, and spiritual aims established by the teachers and school board. In this fast moving age when science is freely talking sup- ersonic speeds we must, as teachers, adjust ourselves to this changing condition that the children we are in charge of may more fully understand the things the future may hold in store for them, and, that they may strive to have a broad and under- standing attitude toward the rights and privileges of their fel- low men, regardless of race or religion. We, as elementary teachers, fully realize this responsibility and with the best of physical equipment, building materials, and with the full sup- port and co-operation of Superintendent Reno and the school board, are doing a splendid job of preparing the children basi- cally for this future.
