To Mrs. Amalie Watson, Bameveld High School's friendly, helpful, and hard working secretary, who plays an important part in the operation of the school. We the Senior Class of 1965, in order to show our deep appreciation for her, dedicate this edition of Hi-Lites. Mrs. Watson was born in Nigoldingen, Switzerland. At the age of 2 years, she came to Orangeville, 111. Wisconsin became her home in 1915. She has lived in Bameveld for 26 years, and has been employed for 5 1 2 years at Bameveld High School. Her duties as secretary are very extensive. They include, for example, attending board meetings, keeping attendance records, and caring for all correspondence. My work in the Bameveld Public School is truly very enriching. It is always very sad for me to see the seniors leaving in the spring. I wouldn't want it otherwise. In the fall, I always feel so elated to see the Freshmen enter the portals of dear old Bameveld High and again there is a senior class. I feel so fortunate to be able to work in such a wonderful school, with a staff of good teachers, wonderful students conscientious school board, considerate personnel. Each and everyone in their own personal way giving something of themselves to make my work a joy. I would like to leave this thought by Harold C. Case with you, The wise person possesses humility. He knows that his small island of knowledge is surrounded by a vast sea of the unknown. y 2
