FOOTBALL Barneveld High had its most successful football team in the history of the school under the leadership of John Lawrence, Coach, and Jan Mandel, As- sistant Coach, with a record of 4 wins and 2 defeats. At the close of the season, the squad elected Halfback Tom Duesler and Fullback Frank Erickson as Co-Captains. Bill Brennan was elected Most Val- uable Player. The squad was honored by having two of its members on the All Con- ference team. They were Center Tom Clerkin and End Gerald Cork.
