JUNIOR HISTORY Most of us can still recall the day in the fall of 1947 that we reluctantly wended our way for the first time up the stairs in good old Barneveld High. We were all well cared for and protected under the guiding hand of Mr. 0 Neill. As the year passed we gradually forgot all the difficulties that were ours at the beginning of our high school training. As the summer rolled along we soon found it time to enter school again. This year there were twenty-six of us. 1950--that exciting year--just think, we are Juniors. Our first thrill was the privilege of initiating our fellow Freshmen. Then came the thrill of selecting a class ring the anticipation of the Junior Prom and class play. As we end this year we look forward with eager anticipation to that year of 1951 when we will become Seniors! 17
