Some of the chorus members and teacher Sam Shuman sang songs. In addition, the Jr. class had a Pepsi stand. The F.F.A. sold cider while the F.H.A. sold pumpkin bread. The cheerleaders and band were also in- volved in the parade and in competitions. The day's activities started when 1984 Queen, Beth Leach, crowned our 1985 May Day Queen, Julie Hunkier. The activities then began. Among the activities were arm wrestling, tug-o-war, volleyball, artillery, and relays. To finish the day's events, the senior girls did the May Pole and ended with the school singing the Alma Mater.
