This is his second year with us and he has won the admiration and respect of the entire community. He worked ceaselessly for the bond issue and said after its pas- sage: The true and representa- tive attitude of the citizens of the Barnesville Exempted Village School District was exhibited on November 8, 1966 by means of public support of a high school bond issue and operating levy . The Board of Education, school administration, school personnel, and most of all boys and girls ex- press their thanks. We shall endeavor to plan and construct the most functionable building possible for the needs of the school district.” After his second year as princ- ipal in Barnesville High School, Mr. Bonvenuto has found the stu- dents, the faculty, and the com- munity to be congenial and coop- erative in adhering to school reg- ulations . Receiving his first education at Point Marion High School, Point Marion, Pennsylvania, Mr. Bon- venuto continued his studies at Fairmont State College. He re- turned to school to receive his Master’s degree at West Virginia University after he served in the Armed Forces. As a former coach, Mr. Bon- venuto has conveyed his enthusi- asm and interest in our football team that helped us become the OVAC ”AA champs. As an edu- cator, sports fan, and especially a kind, firm principal, Mr. Bon- venuto is respected throughout the school and community. 10 FRED D. BONVENUTO
