Mr. James Wright, our superintendent, was educated at Mt. Union College, Kent State, and Toledo University. Upon graduation he became a teacher at Chagrin Falls and later the principal of Coshocton County Schools. He He then served as executive head in Fulton County, Mt. Pleasant, and Jefferson County Schools. Mr. Wright believes there is a pressing need here for special education classes and new facilities in every area. The answer. Mr. Wright feels, is money--not that money will answer all educational problems--but we must have it to develop our school. He firmly believes the opportunity will soon present itself for making our school the best in this area and one of the best in the state. James Albert Wright, superintendent Fred D. Bonvenuto, principal This year Barnesville High School greeted a new principal, Mr. Fred Bonvenuto. The stu- dents first met Mr. Bonvenuto while arranging their sched- ules prior to school's opening and found him to be a forceful man with clear-cut ideas con- cerning rules and discipline. However, his quiet and serious demeanor is tempered by a slow smile and a just and fair attitude. Mr. Bonvenuto is a native of Pennsylvania but chose to do his undergraduate work at Fair- mont State College and his graduate work at West Virginia University. He is presently working on his Doctor's Degree in Administration. As a former coach, Mr. Bonvenuto possesses a keen interest in the athletic program at BHS and indeed is a welcome addition to the administration. 4
