The Board of Education works diligently to improve our school. The members are, from left to right, William Doudna, Mrs. William Nesbitt, Charles A. Shepherd, Paul Ferguson, and Jack Welsh. Ferguson and Welsh are the newly elected members. At the time of this printing, the officers of the Board had not yet been elected. Miss Patricia Carpenter is not only a loyal secretary but also a friend to all the students. One of the hardest working people on the staff is our efficient secre- tary to the Superintendent, Mrs. Kathryn Gill. Mrs. Gill also serves as the clerk of the Board of Educa- tion. Mrs. Dorothy Stephens helps Mrs. Gill with the routine duties. Our nurse, Mrs. Rita Cran- ston, administers to our aches and pains with a ready smile and a soothing hand. Mr. Everett LeMasters, our attendance officer, com- petently performs the hard task of locating absentees. 7
