THE EDITORS MESSAGE Knowledge is a prize that once won, cannot be lost. We in America possess a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of our public education and to grow in knowledge. lt has been noted in the last few years that we have been lax in our approach to education and that we have failed to make proper use of this great facility. Today we are faced with a national challenge for world survival and the balance hangs on knowledge and learning. An awareness of this challenge, inspired the staff to stress the importance of knowledge as the theme of our T959 Senrab. Our book is presented as a source of knowledge designed to aid you in the recognition of classmates and in the remembrance of school events. MR. RHODES, started his new job as super- visor of instruction this year. Formerly he taught driver's training. He attended Ohio State University and received his B.S. degree and MA. degree. Pictured with Mr. Rhodes is Becky Broomhall. Our principal, MR. BERRYHILL attended Miami University, Ohio University, Ohio State Uni- versity and the College of Steubenville. He received his B.S. degree in education and his M.A. degree at Miami University. This is his Fifth year as principal. COMPLIMENTS MRS. RITA CRANSTON, our school nurse, graduated from North Wheeling Hospital and is a registered nurse. MRS. KATHERINE GILL has served Barnesville schools as secretary for fifteen years.
