Scoring was by Col- tharp to Weiche for a T.D., Coltharp to Hattesohl, Hogue to Weiche to Coltharp by passing, Col- tharp 3 extra pts. Touchdowns by Oelschlager, Hattesohl, Weiche and Waterman. Barnes then lost a tough one to Morrowville 27-8. Barnes had a halftime lead of 8-6. Scor- ing was by Coltharp to Weiche pass and an extra point by Coltharp. The Bullets beat their rivals, Greenleaf by a 62-12 score. Coltharp had 4 touchdowns and an extra point, Weiche 3 T. D.'s and Waterman 1 touchdown. For the first time in Barnes football history the Bullets defeated the Hanover Wildcats by a score of 30-13. Scoring was by Coltharp with 3 touchdowns and Weiche with 2. The next game was a thriller with Barnes defeating the Haddam Hounds 28-26 for a tie for first place in the league. The score was deadlocked at 14-14 at half-time. Scoring was by Oel- schlager with 2 T.D.'s and 2 pass receptions for extra pts. Coltharp had 2 touchdowns and an extra pt. kick. The latter touchdown coming on a pass interception by Coltharp and some good blocking by teammates. Barnes then took a disastrous trip to Mahaska to lose to the fired up Cardinals by a score of 21-0. The Bullets won their homecoming game from Randolph by a whopping score of 53-13. Scoring was by Coltharp with 3 touchdowns and 2 extra point kicks, Weiche 2 touchdowns, one on a 43 yard pass from Coltharp and Waterman 2 touchdowns. The Bullets lost their last game of the season to unbeaten Green by a score of 38-34. Yard- age gained was by Coltharp with 192 yards, Weiche with 10 yards, Hattesohl with 40 yards.
