Each had a well-formed plot and was acted quite , competently, due in a large part to the coaching of Mr. Ralph H. Bent assisted by Ed Dassori, '33. The back-stage work was handled very capably by Walter Redell, 55 and james Ryan. That the Dramatic Association is a popular organization at Barnard is proven by the fact that the two alumni return each year and assist Mr. Bent. An added feature of the plays this year was the playing of the Barnard Orchestra under the direction of Mr. Lacy Coe. RIC

EICHHORN l iHE junior Dramatic Association duplicated its success of previous years by its annual production of the well-known l'H.M.S. Pinaforef by Gilbert and Sullivan. The production was under the management of Mrs. Ridgway, halt!! whose skill and experience combined with the enthusiasm of the boys to splendid performance. The audience was appreciative and rounds of applause greeted the final curtain. After the play, an informal dance was presented to climax an enjoyable evening, the music being furnished by the school orchestra which also provided music throughout the play for singing.
