Gorpore S ano Dear Dad, I promised to tell you about the gym department. The freshman syllabus said we were after Fitness and Service. Oh, my aching muscles! After Greek Games Ath- letics and Modern Dance, I discovered six hundred and seventy-five new ones — and every one of them aches. They tell us that we can glamorize and slenderize and vital- ize by bending, stretching, chasing tennis balls, shooting arrows, dosy-doeing, passing sixes, pitching soft-ball, dribbling for bas- kets, falling off horses, swimming and div- ing. All I do is get stiff. . . . Tennis is my forte, however — you should see my serve. That ' s what Miss Finan keeps saying, Let me see you serve, let me see you serve. Please let me see you serve. Our pretty new green courts, courtesy of Elizabeth Ar- den, are a real inspiration to me, so maybe after two or three years I ' ll be able to hit the ball.

INTERFAITH Dear Mom, The outstanding feature of Interfaith is the chance it gives me to understand peo- ple of different religious backgrounds. Each of the five clubs and U.C.A. offers many exciting activities. Besides services in Cha- pel, there are speakers, discussion groups, radio programs ■ — over CURC and New York stations — dances and teas. That reli- gion is a vital part of every day living is the principle upon which it works. W ' ycliffe Club
