Political Council War and threat of war flung a challenge to thinking students on the campus — and Political Council accepted that challenge with enthus- iasm and zeal. To coordinate the activities of college political groups, to provide a central- ized outlet for student opinion on matters of public interest, Political Council held assemblies and sponsored forums.
