In April, the combined Music Clubs presented a radio program. The Brass Sextette, composed of band members also played a selection. On March 31 the Instrumental and Vocal Departments sponsored the annual Spring Concert. A few of the band numbers vxere: 'Vvings of Victory ' Rumbel- ero, Rhythms of Rio 'I Iall of Fame, Minerva, 'md Stratosphere' Barker Central School was the host for the annual Music Festival on May 12 and 13. Thirty-eight schools from different localities took part in competition and Festival. Many of our fun instrumentalists both as soloists and groups also par- ticipated in this program. In the latter part of une mo of the finest bands in western New Xork State Springville and Barker, were combined to give an open-air concert in Springville. Looking back through the past year ue can see the progress the Band has made by strix ing to March Along Together' with the community.
