Wednesday, November 10, the Senior Class presented 'Swing Your Partner , under the direc- tion of Mrs. Jessie Doak. Members of the cast were: Henrietta Dudley, of Dudley's Dude Ranch, Sandra Hager, jean Chris- tian, an Eastern guest, Jane Markham, Bessie Palmer, another Eastern guest, Judy Leighty, Sam Banks, a foreman, Harold Asher, Hulda, the maid, Gerry Yeast,jim Dudley, Henrietta's lesser half, Allen Sikes, Sally Dudley, l'lenrietta's daughter, Kay Caspall, Barbara Young, Sally's cousin, Linda Holcomb, Bill Hicks, a cowboy, Don Davis, Bertram Weeks, a tenderfoot, -lim Russell, Hubert Young, Barbara's father, lmon Sikes. The action takes place at the Dudley Dude Ranch -Way Out West in Arizona! It's springtime and the only guests there are Barbara Young, Mrs. Dudley's niece, Bertram Weeks, who hates horses and is writing a book on desert cacti, and finally, Bessie and jean who are on a vaca- tion. Barbara has taken quite a fancy to odd Mr. Weeks. In fact, she Wants to marry him! In order to get her father's consent to marry Bertie she writes him a letter extolling Bertie's ability to shoot and ride. Much to her surprise, vlr. Young hops on the first plane West. Camival was held October 28, 1954. A program was presented and the Senior class gave a preview of their class play before the stands opened. The stands included the face, basketball, bean bag, ring, dart, football, and baseball throws, cake walk, food stand, corn guessing, and novelty stand. Each class nominated a candidate for king and queen. The Freshmen candidates were Mary Hilton and jim Kelly, Sophomores,Carolyn LaRue and Marvin Thormang Juniors, jane Day and Wayne Thorman, and Seniors, jane Markham and Don Davis. jane Markham and Don Davis were chosen from those nominated.
