COLORS Lavender and Yellow FLOWER Yellow Rose Fifteen Sophomores returned in 1954 To take up their School Days once more. Frank Mincks left us for Bushnell High And Ronda Phillips to Pekin did fly. David Schmact joined us for a month or two Then returned to Rock Island to join their crew. From Bushnell Sherry Kille came And our class has never again been the same. Our first assignment was a pleasant one The initiation dance was lots of fun. The Christmas play was a big success, Our first performance at B.H.S. Our President is Marilyn Ford When she's around we are never bored. Irene Goudy with the pony tail Serves as vice president without fail Lulu Mae Pigg keeps our records and money straight And say, we think she is just first rate. Our reporter, Sheridan Miller, with heap big grin In basketball he can touch the rim. MILLER BROS. CONCRETE Macomb, Illinois 'of 5 Marvin Thorman speaks for us When Student Council is discussed. In basketball we have some more stars Larry Taylor and Ronald McKee hold no bars Damon Bradford is our dancer keen He keeps his convertible shiny and clean. Gerald Heaton is our orderly one He makes Woodcraft a lot of fun. Dorman Kepple is always late Never hears the bells is his debate. Ruanne Lindsay is our musician gay We can't have chorus if she doesn't play. Patty Coker, who is sort of slow Can't decide whom she wants for a beau. Waneta Asher and Carolyn LaRue Make many friends good and true. Mrs. Doak, our sponsor gay Is always ready to help in any way. COLORS Scarlet and Grey FLOWER Carnations 6l4e4af5 In the 'good ole school days' of '54 13 freshmen walked through the door. Carol Schmacht joined us this year From Rock Island she came here. From Cuba, Illinois, came Clarsice Trone We are glad she made Bardolph her home. Then someone left us, it was quite a shock To be left without Carol Schmacht. jim Kelly, the leader of our class, Likes his books but not a lass. Mary Hilton as Jim's assistant Is always happy and never resistant. jalane Kelso, who's big feet are sure cute As secretary-treasurer she guards our loot. Cathy Pugh, as reporter we did choose Writes up all our Freshmen news. Darlene Bradford likes to tickle others And is always dancing with her brothers. Jane Litchfield who is very shy Never lets her work go by. Linda Sperry who raises prize livestock She is our happy one who likes to talk. Kenny Foster from the farm he came When high school is over he'll be doing th Don Bridgewater is always the clown His studies never gets him down. Marilyn, she's really quite nice Of course you know Marilyn Price. C Same Harold Griffeth, our only boy with glasses. He always enjoys all his classes. Jane Rankin, who always wears a smile For anyone, she'd walk a mile. Albert Larson, who isn't very tall He has many friends, one and all.
