Mrs. Worthington, Mr. Harmon CLASS MOTTO Can your can'ts COLORS Pink and White FLOWERS Carnation Our High School days started in 1952 With thirteen members numbering our crew Ray Bragg quit us soon that year And Beverly Price from Bushnell came here. Two more to other schools did go ROVA claimed Marshall Yeast, just so. While Carol Marks hied herself away To Saunemin - in the northern part of the state, they say. We lost in the magazine sales contest And with the Seniors sponsored a party for the rest. In February, on Valentine's Day We had an all-school party that was oh, so gay! Seven girls and four boys returned in '53 But Pat Larson soon from us did flee. This is the year that we had the fun Of initiating the Freshmen on the run. We gave a Christmas play 'Musical Ghost' That wasn't too bad, but we won't boast. A magazine party we sponsored again NICHDLS AND COMPANY Bushnell, Illinois 5 Along with the Freshmen who also didn't win. In 1954, our officers we did cheer Wayne Thorman, our president, again this year. As vice president, Sherry Rankin is always grand, And Tonna Taylor our secretary-treasurer did stand. To Student Council we sent Janet Caspall and jane Day And Beverly Weaver, our reporter along the way. We lost the Price girl, Beverly Lou But with Marscella Trone and Bob Branson, we gained two. Our Junior Class Play took lots of time We had a full house and made mary a dime. The junior'Senior Prom required lots of work But Norman LaRue and johnny Trone did not shirk. Glen Lawyer too, did his share And altogether it was quite an affair. We've one more year to spread cheery rays And then we'll finish the happy School Days. VAUGHN AND BUSHNELL MANUFACTURING CO.
