MUSIC IN THE AIR The chorus made several public appearances besides their three day a week practices. The chorus sang in the County Music Festival in Ma- comb, Junior class play and the Sen- ior class play. The mixed chorus consisted of twenty girls and eight boys. The girls' chorus was divided in three parts, soprano, second soprano and alto. The boys section was divided in two parts, tenor and bass. Besides the mixed chorus, girls' chorus, and boys' chorus, there was a girls' sextet organized at the begin- ning of the year. This sextet sang at the Junior and Senior class plays, Schoolmastefs Banquet, County Board Members Banquet and at a district Oddfellows meeting. Our dinner consisted of baked chick- en. dressing, scalloped potatoes, salad. pie, cake, ice cream, coke and coffee. Immediately following the din- ner the1'e was an exchange of gifts.
