EH SENIOR CLASS PRUPHEEY HGVIHQ just returned from Europe on the U S S lVlon1tor as a reporter for the Chlcago Tnbune I stopped to v1s1t the Hawalan Islands It was now 1962 The f1ISl person I saw was Dale Parsons on the beach actmg as barker for the Hula Hula dancers He told me our classmate Ronnie Peterson was also l1v1ng on the lsland w1th hrs natlve wrfe Ronnle had met her Whlle statroned here w1th the Navy On boardrng a sh1p to return to the good old U S A I found the Cabm Boy was Rrchard Kelso Landmg 1n San Franclsco I met Lyle Allen on the street He owned a b1g Real Estate Busmess and Sdld our classmate Dave Henderson was a top Orange Prcker 1n one of the large orchards Board1ng a plane for Chxcago I was surprrsed to fmd the prlot was Conrad Clark Conme told me that our classmates lean D1lts and Perry L1tchf1eld were marned and had a large horse ranch 1n Wyomrng I stopped on my way home at Washmgton D C to v1s1t the Presxdent D1ck Purman and Drck Rankm who was a member of hlS cabmet I then V1S1led my fnend Velma Lelghty who was a school teacher rn the Ozark Mounta1ns My frrst everung after returnmg to Chxcago I attended the grand open mg of a new mght club operated by Art Foley When leavlng the nlght club I took a taxx drrven by Ierry Vmcent Havmg heard about all my classmates I returned to my Job and hope to look them up 1n ten or twenty years Darlene Trone 1 N21- . .5. l 1

EH .., SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Four years ago 16 students termed freshmen entered the hall of Bardolph H1gh We were 1n1t1ated by the Class of 51 Durlng the year D1ck Rankrn transferred from Industry and R1ta Cross from Good Hope Our leaders that year were pres1dent Rlchard Kelso vtce pres1dent VIIQIHIG Baumunk secretary and treasurer Ronnle Peterson reporter Dave I-lender son student counc1l Velma Lelqhty sponsor Mr Gerald Redman Wmnmg the annual FF A Freld Day and sponsorlng an Aprll Fool Party were the h1gh hghts of our freshman year As sophomores we elected new class offrcers pres1dent Velma Lerghty vrce pres1dent V1rg1n1a Baumunk secretary lean Drlts treasurer Rrta Cross student councll Rlchard Kelso sponsor Mrs Norma Evemeyer Events that w1ll be remembered from our sophomore year are that we agam won Freld Day 1n1t1ated the freshmen and sponsored an all school party that nrght Durrnq the summer V1rg1n1a Baumunk became Mrs Herman Watson Offrcers for our junlor year were pres1dent Velma Lelghty vrce presr councll Rlchard Kelso and Dale Parsons sponsors Mrs Evemeyer and Mr Blller HAPPENINGS DURING THE YEAR We presented the play Toby Helps Out under the d1rect1on of Mrs Evemeyer Our banquet and prom was held on May 18 wlth the semors guests faculty and school board bemg enter tamed at the Crrcle B Ranch For the th1rd consecutrve year we agaln won the F F A Fleld Day Drck and Vrvran Doscher trans ferred to Macomb H1gh To ralse the funds 1n our treasury we conducted a turkey raffle R1ta Cross left us to become Mrs Phrl Iohnson durmg the summer Thrs left us Wllh only 14 1n the senror class as we embarked on the last lap of our 4 year voyage We elected the follow1ng offrcers pres1dent lean Dllts v1ce presxdent Rlchard Kelso secretary Velma Lerghty treasurer Ierry Vmcent student councll Art Foley Eldon Lxtchheld Dave Henderson sponsor Mrs Karl McGreW lt has been a busy year servrng 3 sales a chrcken dlnner and gathermg up maqazlnes scrap 1ron and trash In the fall we presented the play Thats the Trcket dlrected by Mrs Evemeyer We hope to make 1t a perfect 4 year record by aga1n Walkmg off w1th frrst place honors at Freld Day And last but by far not least was preparlng the 1952 Monrtor for pubhcatron w1th the help of Mrs McGrew We hope after May 27 to be members of the Bardolph Alumn1 Assocx at1on B. . . 5- dent Arthur Foley: secretary, Dick Rankin: treasurer, lean Diltsg student
