Dick played running guard with a sixth sense which enabled him to play the position unsurpassed throughout this foot- ball conference. llis blocks were a main fac- tor in making possible many long gains. He now does his high flying for the Army Air Force. DUANE HARMEI.. This year was the cli- max to l'uss's fine career of lligh School foot- ball at end. He has pulled down passes that many coaches would have said their boys did a good job in touching. l'uss is also a three let- ter man in basketball. BOB BACH. Louie, one of l3araboo's out- standing players had hard luck this year, break- ing his collarbone early in the football season. ln order to redeem himself he came back strong- ly on the basketball court as one of the most valuable men. DAVID HOLADAY. Dave played reserve tackle during the first four games of the sea- so11. VVith the departure of men to the service Dave was called upon to fill the assignment ol regular tackle. He did this and the results were excellent. GRANT B UELOVV. Grant was part of Bar- abools reserve strength. He played guard with a combination of speed, power, and brain which is undoubtedly the best thing to have on a foot- ball field. Ile also won his letter as a hurdler in track. IIICRH CADY. Speed was he had plenty to burn. He with a scoring spree against ning over live touchdowns points. llis speed and agility court were also of use.
