Page Q9 s awe., The promotion into the Junior High School of the Seventh Grade has brought many new experiences for its members. There are seventy-seven members in this grade. Frances Bartholomew is the student council representative. The class ol'licers are: President, Nancy Ailes, Vice-President, Eugene Weston, Secretary, Althea Steele, and Treasurer, Margaret Kane. The advisors ol the class are their three home room teachers: Mrs. Andrews, Miss Wareham, and Mr. Willard. The members ol the Seventh Grade are very active in the several extra-curricular activi- ties. lncluded in these are: Junior Chorus, Band, Orchestra, G.A.A., and Junior High Ath- letics. Meiers. fifffffwwfe The eighth grade has increased in size this year. It is divided into two classes, the home rooms ol Miss Voight and Miss Blalce, a new comer. The eighth grade has participated heavily this year in all lcinds ol recreation. They have participated in Band and Junior Chorus and athletics. The girls have G.A.A. and the boys have boxing, baslcetball and lootball. The eighth grade is also doing its part in the war effort. Every day during home room they drinlc a bottle ol millc to help lceep their bodies strong and lit. Once a weelc, on Tuesdays during home room they put all ol their spare money into stamps and bonds instead ol wasting lt. The eighth grade has chosen Marilyn Nelson as its representative to Student Council. Page 98
