For the First clays the poor Sophomores were lost among tradition and custom. Soon, however, they found that they were rapidly becoming a part ol the Senior l-ligh student body, and ceased to lose themselves between classes. The Senior High ollers many extra-curricular activities, almost all ol which have a place lor Sophomores. Only a lew ol these are available to Freshmen. Now the Soph's have a chance to distinguish themselves. This year the ollicers lor the Sophomore Class are: President, l'larolcl Piercei Vice- President, June Schilstrai Secretary, Dorothy Campbelli and 'l'reasurer,'0tto Baumgarten. Mr. l'leinze is the class advisor. Student Council representatives are as lollovvs: Mr. Brown's l-lomeroom, Oscar Thomp- soni Miss Enright's l-lomeroom, Sandra Gollmari Miss l-laclcett's lmlomeroom, Dorothy Ann Campbell. With these ellicient ollicers, the Soph's should make this year's class the best one yet. Secretary Treasurer D. Campbell O. Baumgarten

The Freshman Class shows promise ol being a very socially prominent class. The student body chose very etlicient ollicers with Robert l-less, President, l'lerbert l-larpold, Vice- President, James Stoeclcmann, Secretary, and Fred Cone, Treasurer. This was unusual as all their ollicers were boys. Jane Morton and Lloyd Schaefer are the Student Council Repre- sentatives and Miss Evert is their advisor. The class is proud ol their three cheerleaders. They are peppy little Nancy Lincoln with those two Flashing brunettes on each side, Lenore Felger. and Ann Bresnahan. The Freshman Class is active in nearly every activity including Band, Pep Club, Latin Club, Glee Club, Boxing, F.F.A., G.A.A., Football, and Baslcetball. This class is bound to be one which weill hear a lot about in the luture. KQV. 6... A ML QMJMM. n i Page 97
