Ill' CHI-NIlQ'lRX IXBORAIK Adjacent to the study halls is the library The library is one of the features of the building it is a large comfortable, well lighted room It accommodates forty five students, and its shelxes have room for four thousand xolumes It is furnished with ample magazine and newspaper racks In the north vest corner of the library is the of fice of the librarian commodate thirty Although some of the rooms are furnished with old style desks, most of them are provided with comfortable study chairs The lighting of the class rooms is a most attractixe feature Light enters the rooms from the left side only providing ideal natural lighting conditions The artificial lighting was carefully planned to give a maximum bright light with a minimum of glare This was successfully accomplished by the use of a special ty pe of globe vshich makes it possible to have several hundred can dle power of light in a room without discomfort Each room has a special heating and xentilatlng unit Warmed fresh air is forced into each room at a rate which assures a complete change of fresh :ur sex eral times each hour There is an electric clock in each room The spacious officts are on the first floor Adjacent to the office of the superm tendent is a reception room Both the office and the reception room are attractively furnished A fireproof sault has been proxided vihere important school records are kept The assemblx is located on the second floor This room has a seating capacity of fue hundred and fiftx The stats art sem: upholstered opera chairs designed for this auditorium The siagt is fully tqulpptd A large modern theatrical sw1tch board allows xaritd lighting tfftcts The stage has 1 utlorama curtain which makes it possible to present plays with 1 minimum of painted scentrx and maximum effectnencss The rich red xelxtt xtlour curtain guts to tht stage a proftssionfnl appearance This curtain, 12 .
