STUDYINC Studying for a test can be accomplished two different ways. You can start studying two weeks ahead of time so you will have the work evenly distributed over fourteen days, or you can start cramming at midnight for the big test the next day. Unfortunately, most students choose the latter method. STUDENT CENTER The student center offers a diversion fromlstudying and eating in the cafeteria. Students can always be found in there playing one of the games, listening to the iuke box, or grabbing a bite to eat. T TICKETS Several times during the yearhstudents get to stand in line for something good-tickets to an upcoming concert. Most people gladly stand in line to get good seats for themselves and their dates. TRAFFIC Traffic at BCC is sometimes a problem. Traffic jams al- ways occur at convocation and the biggest problem of all is going to traffic court. TREES Trees are a major item of concern. Stepping on a one foot high tree is a terrible offense. especially considering it took ten years to grow that high. Anyone who makes fun of our trees should have seen the campus several y88l'8 880. TELEVISION One of the favorite past times of dorm students is watching t.v. Whether it's catching your favorite soap op- era or watching the late movie. television provides a ma- jor source of entertainment for the students.

PDA- BCC students are governed by the regulation that no af- fection will be publicly displayed beyond handholding. As you might guess, this is often broken, resulting in demerits. PARLUR Littlejohn Parlor provides a place for males and fe- males to be together-as long as they only hold hands. Many activities go on in the parlor such as watching t.v., card games, or just talking to friends. Q Quizzes An important part of the academic life of Baptist Col- lege is its testing. Whether a major test or just a pop quiz, students usually have to study for them. R REFLECTIUN PUND The reflection pond offers a wide variety of experi- ences. Some enjoy watching the birds. Others just like staring into the water, while some even get to go for a quick swim. REGISTRATION The longest lines of the year seem to appear at registra- tion. Everyone wants to be first in line so that he can get the easiest teachers. Registration does offer the opportu- nity to meet new people, as you often converse with the person who is stuck in front of you for the rest of the afternoon. RUSH WEEK A big week for fraternities and sororities is rush week. The week is characterized by pledges running around asking you to sign pillows or performances of weird skits in the cafeteria. The best thing about rush week is the parties, though. For a week, everyone has a very hard time staying awake during classes. S SLEEP A student's sleeping hours at Baptist College are very flexible. Some nights you can't even get to sleep because of big tests, noise on the halls, or a group of people in the room talking. Some nights, sleep is the best thing offered, so everyone retires to an early night.

U UMBRELLAS The weather at BCC requires a student to make good use of an umbrella. BCC students experience many rainy days and umbrellas are frequently in use. V VICTORY Each student has a different concept of victory. To some it is their fraternity winning the game. To some guys, winning is being with that special girl. Whatever it is, victory always brings a smile to the face. W WHOPPER Many students live off of Burger King Whoppers. Be- cause Burger King is so near to the campus. many find it convenient to go there. Q 9 .-J
