, Un Appreciation Too many times we find it hard to express how much we really appreciate what other people do for us., As I have worked with the SOIOURNER staff this year, I have become aware of how valuable other peoplel are to anything worthwhile that is attempted . f Our SOJOURNER Staff has been small. Some have come and gone, but a faithful few remained up untill the last night before the last deadline. I deeply appreciate even the smallest contribution to this year-I book. There are a few people, however, without whom this book would never have been completed. Myi personal appreciation to: 'Artwork: Mark McGaughey for all divisions pages and Matthew Walker for all other artwork: iPhotography: Dave Boos for his work WAY above and beyond the call of duty in photography, and Earl Richardson, Dave Childers, Mike Johnson, Darrell Tharp, Rick Ireland, Steve Goeghan, Shawn Moore, and Anita Sherron for helping Dave. Also Joe Henry for slides of London, Mark Hammond for slides of the Patriots' Summer Tour, and Mrs. Shirley Johnson for slides of the drama productions: iAdvertising: Dave Stokes and Art Tear, and especially Jerry Purvis for the advertising pages: iStaff: Rob Russo, Debbie Williams, Carla Morton, Vicki Kirchner, Debbie Pappas, Sandy Staton, Savanna Ringland , Rhoda Vaughn, David Melton, Mark Riley, and Lou ' Markulin for many , many long hard hours Cusually after curfewlj, and the great I attitude they kept until the entire yearbook was finished . 1 iAdvisers: Dr. Anita Schaefer, our journalism adviser for the careful proofreading of every page before it was submitted and the encouragement she provided to the staff , and p Bro. Kenneth Gillming for handling any special problems that arose, and Wally Stuchul for providing advice and suggestions for the Sports sectiong 1 l Often while you were sleeping, we were busy preparing your yearbook for you. The only payment we need is your satisfaction. We know that there will be errors and mistakes because we are human, but we hope the good will out weigh the bad . Once again I would like to express how very much I appreciate the hard work that the entire staff put into this book. I would also like to thank you, the students of BBC . You bought the yearbooks and provided the subject for it. Keep crossing, building, and burning bridges - without you there would be no 1977! SOIOURNER. 1 Love , Grace l 240 A
