ladies guild For the woman who desires to make a better, happier home, there is the Ladies Guild. The Guild offers its activities to all ladies associated with Baptist Bible College. lt was founded on the principles of the Godly woman. Ladies Guild stresses proper dress, the duties of the missionaries' and pastors' wives, full time service, and homemaking, among other Christian ideals. The Guild sponsors a food bank for students vvho may need food. They also provide a furniture bank for students who need furniture while in school. The women meet every Monday night to hear prayer requests, devotions, and special speakers. Once a month a missionary, a pastor's wife, or a college professor is the guest speaker. Each year a Christmas party is held. Also, a special narcotics presentation is given annually. Husbands are encouraged to attend both of these occasions. Nlrs. William Sears is the present sponsor of the organization which was founded in 1960 by lVlrs. John Ross. A ln.
