mit eat ‘yan i “ay rev ca % . Se tae? 5 Contents: administration activities classes ALY ad te pe gg You And I In Dedication It takes a great man to mold young adults from all the kids that come to him from Coombs and other junior high schools, but Mr. Jensen fills that position. For that reason we dedicate our book to him. Mr. Jensen has been teaching at Banning High School for 13 years. He majors in Music and his minor is in Social Studies. He loves the kids and Banning High School. He also loves teaching. As for his future plans, he lives life from day to day. Mr. Jensen fills all of our hearts with the sound of music, trying day in and day out to make a sound come from us that will make us proud. When we think of him our thoughts turn to days of hard work and tears, but also days of fun and pride; Days that we will never forget. Mr. Jensen will remain with us forever, no matter where we go or how we live our lives, He's a man that will stay with us, a special teacher and friend. Student From Iran I joined A.F.S. in October and I got my application in August of 1973. I was very excited about coming here and although I didn't have enough information of the city and people, it made me very happy. I remember many times I asked myself How do people in the City look like. I came here, I found many nice and friend- ly people in this nice city. I feel friend- ship better and I know myself better. 1 want to thank A.F.S., and also my parents who made it possible to get alot of exper- iences, and the people who provided me every bit of kindness. He is just away. With a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand, He has wandered into an unknown land And left us dreaming how very fair It needs must be, since he lingers there. And you - oh, you, who the wildest yearn For an old-time step, and the glad return, Think of him faring on, as dear In the love of There as the love of Here. Think of him still as the same. ROW THREE: Thomas Harris, Phil Kerr, Gordon Leary, Nate Wilson, Steve Simpson, Matthew Lay, Paul Zaitz, Johnny Baker, Walter Steele, Greg Baca. Banning High School's 1974 Track Team was under the direction of a new coach, Mr. Amstoy, this year. His main job was teaching the ath- letes to compete more skillfully in each of their individual events. Some of these events included the long jump, shot put, high and low hurdles, discus, relays, pole vault, and various other events. Another unique aspect of this year's track team was the participation in events by female team members. 148 Pr _ ; . ft. (gets . - a bite © es ab 149 PATRONS Bab's Smart Set 115 N.
