Project “‘70” New Baseball Field Planned Class of 70’s Gift to School | — ETD Ch ted Mb thes The graduated class of 1970 Project '70 was the largest project of its kind to ever be Total cost for the field was around $7,000. The project received publicity in the newspapers and television. Some of the publicity and fund-raising activities included: a banquet, the raffling of a '70 Datsun, candy sales, door to door campaigning, and the manufacturing of a forty pound marshmallow. These, along with donations from local and out of town merchants and individuals, Project '70 chairman helped the Class of '70 with funds needed. Gary Page, and friends.
