FOREWORD The 1965-66 San Gorgonian staff has chosen “Our Age” as the theme for this year’s book. “Our Age’ symbolizes our world; the world of cars, steadies, friends, school, and work. School life is a part of our age. As the years pass we will want to look back to this book and see the school life as it was in “Our Age”. The staff wishes to represent this school life throughout the book and show the loyalty to Banning High as expressed in our: ALVA MATER Hail to our dear old Banning High, We'll sing your praises to the sky. MR. FORREST ROUNCAMILLE Mr. Forrest Rounsaville was born in Tusca, Oklahoma, 1929, and graduated from high school at Atoka, Oklahoma in 1947. He attended several colleges on football scholarships. He graduated from Eastern A M Junior College and then went to Oklahoma Baptist University at Shawnee, Okla., on a basketball scholarship. From there he went to the army, and to Japan. While in the army he went through OCS and came out as a lieutenant. Then, after the army, he went to OSU at Stillwater, Oklahoma. After one semester at OSU he went to Southeastern State and graduated from there. He taught as a coach in Texas and then moved back to Oklahoma University, and received a masters in guidance and counseling. He has been with the Banning Schools for the past four years, and has done a tremendous job counseling our students.
