We have chosen for the theme of the 1984 yearbook Contrails. Why? Simply because Contrails describes exactly what the year- book represents. A contrail is the exhaust — seen in the form of a white cloudy trail — of a jet. Since Banks High is the home of the Fighting Jets, to review its past is to look at its contrail. Look at this year at Banks, its good times, its fun, its trials and hardships. All of these are left behind. Just as the contrail of a jet represents where it has been and where it is going, so does the 1984 CONTRAILS show where the seniors of 1984 have been and where the underclassmen have yet to go. page 4: upper right, Gary Cooper, Curtis Bailey; center, Brian Bates; lower right, Michelle Palmer, Wilda Wiggins. page 5: upper left (l-r) Tracy Tenhet, Todd Carroll, Wayne Ledbetter, Danny Stroup, David Williams; lower right, Dennis Graves, Tim Fulmer.
