Mr. Sidney Moore DEDICATION To someone who is never too busy to listen to the problems of the students here at Banks. Many seek his advice daily, knowing that he will gladly lis- ten, offering guidance and assistance in whatever way he possibly can. His students are among the most respon- sive and energetic, due largely to his constant help and encouragement. We of the 1975 Contrails staff are very proud and happy to dedicate our time and effort to one of the student body ' s best friends, Mr. Sidney Moore. If anyone hears Me calling him and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with him and he with Me. navelalion 3:20 How does a person receive Jesus Christ? If you have invriod Jesus Christ into your life, the Bible says you now have eternal lifo. And this is the record, that God hath given 10 us eternal life, and Ihis life is in His Son. He that hath tt o Son hath life, and ho that hath not the Son of God hath not life. The Bible leaches that God loves all men aod wants them to know Him. But man is separated from God and Hit love. . . God IS on one side and all the people on the other side . . I rimolhy 2:5 Why is man separated from God and His love? Why is man separated from God and His love? . . your sins have separated you and your God . . . β–  The Old Testament luith S9 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. The New Testament Romans 3 This separation leads only to death - and cer- tain judgment. . . . it is appointed unto men once to die. but after this the judgment. . . those who do not know God . . . shall suf- fer the punishment of eternal destruction and exclusion from the presence of the Lord . . . HitKtws 9:27. II Theiulonxru 1 :8.9 But there is a solution. But Jesus Christ. Who died on the cross for our sins, is the way to God. . . . God is on one side and all the people on the other side, and Christ Jesus. Himself man. is between them to bring them together, by giv- ing His life for all mankind. . . He died once for the sins of all . . . that He might bring us safely home to God. The New Testament I Tiinolhr 2. I PΒ«lΒ«f 3 No. Only those who personally receive Jesus Christ into their lives, trusting Him to forgive their sins. But as many as received Him. to them gave He power to become the sons of God. even to them that believe on His Name. John 1:12 How does a person receive Jesus Christ? Often during the course of the year, especially when we were extremely hurried and hassled, students would approach us and ask why, exactly, we enjo) working on the yearbook so much. The main reason, the most important one, is the rapport we staff workers establish between each other. TTie staff 1 worked long and hard and deserves our deepest thanks. The single individual most responsible for production of this book is our sponsor. Miss Edith Anhur. We could not have gotten along without I constant help and inspiration, which came in more ways than one. Others deserving of thanks include Jim Robbins of Taylor Publishing Co., the photographers of Belmont Studios, Joel Cunningham for his excell( photographic work, the administration and faculty for their constant help and cooperation, and our parents, friends and students, all of whom made CO TRAILS 1975 possible.
