MR. WILLIAM LANKFORD Mr. Lankford, who has taught for eight years, teaches economic and physical education. He attended Howard College where he received his B.S. Degree and the University of Alabama where hr received his M.A. Degree. Hr is interested in sports. MRS. CAROLYN LAYTON This is Mrs. La 1 on’s first year to teach algebra. She attended Auburn University and Howard College where she received a B.S. Degree. Water skiing, swimming, and sewing arc her interests. MR. RICHARD MANSF1EI.D-J0NES Mr. Mansfield-Jones has taught for twenty years in Birmingham He is teaching math this year. He utlended the Universities of Alabama, West Indies and Chicago where he received his B.S.. A.B and M.S. Degrees. His hobby is horticulture. MISS SARAH MARLEY This is Miss Marley’s second year to teach math here at Bank? She attended the Woman’s College of Georgia where she receiver) her A.B. Degree. Heading and sewing are her hobbies. MISS MARION LOWRY Miss Lowry, an English teacher, has taught for two years. She attended Birmingham-Southern where she received her B.A. Degree and the University of Alabama where she received her M.A. Degree. Her interests are singing, bowling, skating, playing the piano and organ, and skeet shooting. MR. SIDNEY MALLOY Mr. Malloy has taught for a total of nineteen years. This English teacher attended Rirminghnm-Southern where he received his A.B. Degree. Golf and swimming are his interests. MISS REBECCA JENNINGS Our speech teacher. Miss Jennings, has taught for four years. She attended Alabama College and the University of Denver where she received her B.A. Degree and a M.A. Degree. Art and the theater are her interests. MRS. GRACE JOHNSON Our mechanical drawing teacher, Mrs. Johnson has taught for five years here at Banks. She attended Birmingham Southern College where she received her A.B. Degree. Her interests include working on a Master’s Degree, Sunday School teaching, and all the graphic art?. MRS. ELEARSE JEFFORDS Mrs. Jeffords i? teaching clothing and family living for the fir? time this year. She was formerly with the County Welfare Depart ment. She attended Birmingham-Southern College and Auburn Uni remit) win raduated with a ILS Dt ■ Her h ! l»ies ar sewing, knitting, and music. MR. WILLIAM JENKINS Before coming to Banks, Mr. Jenkins taught for two years a Davidson High School in Mobile. He received his B.S. Degree a Athens College. In addition to teaching history, he works part tim as our guidance counselor. His interests are art and sailing.

MRS. NANCY IjOU GRAVES Mrs. Graves (aught at Coulwood Junior High in Charlotte, North Carolina for one year before coming to Hanks. She received her B.S. Degree at Fast Tennessee State University. This math teacher's hobbies are sewing, knitting, and playing the organ. MR. DON GRF.F.N Mr. Green is teaching physical education and civic for his first year. He received his B.S. Degree at Howard College and his M.A. Degree at the University of Alabama. He enjoys hunting and fishing. MRS. IRENE HENDRICKS A supply teacher for eight years. Mrs. Hendricks liegnn teaching English at Banks this car. She attended the University of Arizona, and Birmingham-Southern College, where she received her A.B. Degree. Sewing, knitting, playing bridge, and church library work are her hobbies. MISS VIRGINIA HODGES Miss Hodges, who i teaching for her first lime, teaches bookkeeping, business law. and tvping. She attended Auburn I niversity where she received her B.S. Degree. Her hobbies are water skiing, knitting, and reading. MISS KATHERINE HARRISON Our favorite teacher. Miss Harrison, teaches us history. She has taught for four years. She attended the University of Alabama where she received her B.S. Degree in Education. Her hobbies are skiing and art. MRS. ELIZABETH HATCH One of the busiest teachers around Bank is Mr . Hatch. As one of the girls physical education teachers, -hr work- with the Cheerleaders, the 6” Club, the swim team, and the tennis team. She attended the University of Alabama where she received her B.S. Degree. MISS CHARLOTTE HOLLAND Mi— Holland, an English teacher, is beginning her third year her at Banks. She went to Judson College, where -In- received her B. A Degree. Her interests are sewing, reading, music, and cooking. MRS. BARBARA JARBOE Mrs. Jarhoe taught for two year- at tin- Lnivcr-it of Mi—ouri one year in Saint Iamis. and six years at Ramsay. She is teaching French this year. She went to the Uxdvenitv of Alabama and th» University of Mi—ouri and ha- rceei ed both a B.S. Degree ami t M.A. Degree. MISS DELLA GRIFFIN Before coming to Banks. Miss Griffin taught at Saint Clair County High School. She received her A.B. Degree at Howard College. She teaches American history and economics. Her interests include reading, cooking, and a desire for knowledge. MR. GEORGE HANI.IN Mr. Hunlin has taught for a total of nine years: two years at Warrior High School, one year at Woodlawn, and six years at Bank.-. He teaches ninth. He has received both a B.S. Degree and a M.A. Degree after attending Howard College and Auburn University. Mr. Hanlin enjoys sports.

MR. JOHN McCLURE Mr. McClure, our physics teacher, has taught for five years. Hr attended the University of Alabama, where he received his B.S. and M.A. Degrees. His interests are -.ports and science. MRS. GAY McNAIR This is Mrs. McNair’s fourth year to teach biology at Ranks. She attended Livingston State College where she received her B.S. Degree. Horseback riding and playing bridge arc her hobbies. MR. JOHN POINTER Mr. Pointer, who has taught for eight years here at Ranks, teaches government. American History, and senior science. He graduated from the University of Alabama where he received both his R.S. and M.A. Degrees, MISS ANNA PRAYTOR Miss Praytor lias taught English for many years. She attended Birmingham-Southern where she received her A.B. Degree and the University of Alabama where she received her M.A. Degree. Her hobbies are selling books and growing orchids. MRS. WILLARD MAULDIN Mrs. Mauldin, who has taught for many years, teaches home economics, foods, and family living. She attended Alabama College where she received her R.S. Degree. All 'port , needlework, and her grandchildren are her hobbies. MRS. NANCY McKINNON Mrs. McKinnon, who has taught for two years, teaches commercial arithmetic, history, and typing. She attended Auburn University. where she received her B.S. Degree. Baseball, swimming, and traveling arc her interests. MISS GALE McNF.IL This is Miss McNeil's first year to teach math and senior science. She attended the University of Alabama, where she received her B.S. Degree. Listening to music and reading arc her interests. MRS. ELIZABETH PEARCE This is Mrs. Pearce’s third year to teach Spanish here at Banks. She attended Alabama College and Birmingham-Southern and received a B.S. Degree. Reading, sewing, and knitting arc her hobbies. MRS. GLADYS RAWLS Mrs. Rawls, who has taught for thirty-five years in Birmingham, leaches American History and government. She attended Sophie Newcomb College where die received her A.B. Degree ami Columbus University where she received her M.A. Degree. Reading, gardening, traveling, nature study and music are her interests. MR. JOHN ROGERS Mr. Rogers taught at Talladega High School before coming to Banks. This math teacher attended Howard College, where he receiver! his B.S. Degree.
