. pig, Mr. Roy Shelton MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL As our world moves into the space age, we naturally are brought closer to our neighbors--the moon, the stars, and other planets. As we look up and forward, we are constantly seeking new experiences. May these experiences enrich and ennoble our lives. During our second year our school has grown in every direction. We have added many new courses, such as typing, shorthand, bookkeeping, chemistry, dramatics, and physical education. We also find many students who are more aware of the importance of developing themselves mentally, morally and physically, and who are trying to develop a well integrated personality. As we grow older at Banks High, may we never lose sight of the fact that with each passing year we must make the best better. We must never forget that there is an answer to every problem and that answer may be found in the light of intelligent thinking, through Christian attitude, and with a generous portion of hard, honest work.
