TUDE TGCVERME T T BANKS One of the principal objectives of Banks High School is to develop a sense of res- ponsibility and leadership in each individual student. The students feel that this goal is being reached through student government. The Student Council and Cabinet under the able leader ship of their student body officers and sponsor have done much to pro- mote good school spirit and sportsmanship. They have published our school manual, THE PILOT, compiled a student directory, established an ef- fective Honor Court, and created a wholesome school-community relationship. A school is only as good as its students, and the students are only as good as their governing body. May the students at Banks High School always reflect the high standards and ideals set before them by their student govemment. Mrs. Sallye R. Wilson, Student Government Sponsor 9.
