IN MEMORY OF . . . Tommy Lee Sikes . On August 6, 1966, we gathered with hearts saddened by the death of Tommy Lee Sikes, a friend to everyone. It does not seem possible that his place is now empty. He attained his highest aim by being a coach. His first year of coaching was on the Eldorado High School Coaching Staff. He was an outstanding track athlete at Bangs High School and con- tinued his education at Howard Payne College where he was selected as a member of the All-American Track Team. Tommy always encouraged younger boys to keep striving for a rewardable goal, for no goal is too hard to reach.

DEDICATION As the seventh and eighth grade English teacher, she has built a strong found a- tion for all her students as they head for high school and on to college. During her many years at Bangs she has won the love and respect of all those who know her. Through her untiring efforts she has helped establish our National Honor Society, a great honor to the students of Bangs High. We, the Annual Staff, are proud to present you, Mrs. Kyzar, with this token of our esteem and praise.

SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE To Students and Teachers: Again we have reached the end of aschool year and I would like to take this opporttmity to thank all those who have helped the students in Bangs School, especially the teachers and those parents who have added to the educational scene. I would like to thank the students that have given of their time to work on this annual, especially to you seniors for your help. This annual will become a brief history of the activities of this school year. I am sure that you will re- ceive many hours of enjoyment in the years to come reminiscing over this book and your experiences in high school.
