Dedication Dr. Anson M. Hamm, who has retired from the teaching staff of Bangor Area Joint High School, will long be remembered as an outstanding teacher and administrator. Dr. Hamm was graduated from Penn State University, where he majored in mathematics and received his degree of Doctor of Education. He also attended Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania. Before coming to Bangor, he served as head of the mathematics department in Bensalem Township; as supervising principal of Fairfield, Warriors Mark, and Boswell; and as prin- cipal of Freemansburg Elementary School. Dr. Hamm also taught mathematics during the summer months at Gettysburg College and at Frostburg State Teachers College in Maryland. Active in PSEA work, he served as the president of that organization in Bucks County. In Bangor High School Dr. Hamm taught mathematics and science. He also served as advisor to the Future Teachers. It is to Dr. Anson Hamm, who has given himself to the service of youth, that we dedi- cate the 1962 GRADUATE. 4 ee Py
