In charge of any disciplinary problems, and Home and School Visitor, is Mr. Thomas, the administrative assistant to the principal. When the occasion arises, he serves as substitute teacher in English and history, at Bangor High. The secretary to the school committee is Mr. Reimer Speer, who does all the buying and bookkeep- ing forthe school system. Besides this he compiles and submits reports for the reimbursements of the school district. Miss Charmaine Collins, a friendly and under- standing secretary tothe superintendent is often seen aiding Mr. Speer or Mrs. Lobb in the principal's ofhce. At other times she- is frequently distributing school papers and pencils to all teachers for the students' use. Mrs Jean Lobb congenial secretary in the prin cipal s office helps with the scheduling of courses in the summer and anonymous other details during the everyday school session These are the people comprising OUR ADMIN ISTRATION RECORD FILES are referred to by Miss Char maine Collins ABSENTEE SHEETS receive morning priority from Mrs Jean Lobb MR THOMAS checks car registration forms for omissions COLLEGE ENTRANCE applications receive Dr Trever Williams individual attention

EAN l'l'lLl'll5tI'6l!l0l'l The good administration at Bangor Area Joint High School this year is under the responsibility at these men who compose the Bangor Area Joint School Committee. Messrs. David Stoddard, president, Merle Mabus, vice-president, James Brusie, Marvin De Pame philis, Quintus Labar, John Finelli, Edward Caponigro, Frank Butz, and Donald Creighton. These men repre- sent the Bangor, Roseto, and Lower Mt. Bethel school districts. These men have efticiently supervised many im- provements in the Bangor Area School system, such as a new heating system, an additional manual arts shop, the rerdecoration of several classrooms, and erecting a cafeteria. SCHOOL LAWS often need clarihcation by Mr Speer. MW? 'T' TELEPHONE CALLS play an important part in the busy day ot our genial Superinten- dent. Mr. D. B. Keat, the superintendent of schools is responsible tor carrying out the committee's policy tor the ioint system. This includes kindergartens, ele- mentary, and high school. ln addition he is kept busy hlling out state reports and various forms required in the smooth operation of our school system. Our principal, Dr. Trever Williams, is in charge of the high school and responsible to the superinten- dent and the school board for the smooth running of the various curriculums, and planning ot the students' schedules and affairs.
