Millard Gleim is very active in our school. lr sponsors the junior trip to Vllest Point. the senior trip to the United Nations, and the Student Council election. which is held each year to promote democratic voting in our school. To determine what students lack in social studies, a program consisting ol' a series of tests is scheduled for the future. Student teachers from East Stroudsburg State Teachers College alternately teach the eleventh and twelfth-grade students each year. . . . Important are History and Biology . . . Biology Drpartmmz fe' MR. STERLING SCHMOYER Devoted entirely to college preparatory sophomores, the biology department is directed by Xlr. Sterling Schmoyer. The course is constituted by laboratory work and classroom study. Throughout the year, projects and notebooks concerning many phases of biology are prepared for collection at the end ol' the school term.
