Komfmzmier I, as Lieutenant Commander of this voyage, would like to take this opportunity to thank the crew of the U,S,S,BANGOR HIGH SCHOOL for their cooperation with me in matters of general ship discipline. Your principal, as Captain of the ship, is the coordinator of the whole Crew. His many duties are scheduling, coordinat- ing, and supervising to see that our ship' sails smoothly. As his assistant, I have been delegated certain duties to relieve him of a certain amount of detail. Since most of our students are proud of their team work, the result is that we are able to h ave cooperation and harmony throughout the entire ship. David Thomas Lieutenant Commander 1 I---,,,,J Personnel You are in various stages of your high school Career or what might be compared with a shake-down cruise.
