Class Motto-Onward Ever Onward Class Colors-l'i1rple and Gold Class FIUIUI'7'4-rx1IlCl'lC2lll Beauty Rose Class Symlm!-American Eagle S L i SENIOR CLASS HISTORY The most important thing that happened in our Freshman year was our trip to Lake Hopatcong. In our Sophomore year we had many members participating in extra- curricular activities and held a very successful party in the auditorium. During our junior year we were more active. We were the proud bearers of the newly selected class ring. From our Christmas dance we received a large proht. The most important event of our Junior year was the banquet, which was held at Buck Hill Falls. Under the leadership ol' Mr. Delelaven, the Senior Class of 1943 had a very delightful Senior year. At Thanksgiving we had our annual Senior dance. The motif of decoration was ol Latin-American countries. Another outstanding event ol' the year was the senior class play Holly House , written by Mr. Wlarren Smith, and presented in the high school auditori- um on the evenings of March 8th and 9th. It was a very great success due to the excellent work on the part ol every member of the cast and all those concerned with the play. On May llth we had our dinner-dance at the Hotel Easton. The Music was furnished by johnny Altieri and his orchestra. Our School days will soon be just a pleasant memory, but the memory of Bangor High School will always live in our hearts. aa 10 O
