Dedication For his many great services and his unbounded interests as a member of the faculty of Bangor High School, we, the Class of l942, with sincere appreci- ation, dedicate this issue of the SLATE to Mr. Arnold P. Wynne. As the literary adviser of the SLATE, Mr. Wynne has been largely responsible for pulling our publication from out the sluggish depths into which it had fallen and converting it into a snappy, first- rate magazine. The boys in the Hi-Y have for several years known him as their faithful and inspiring adviser. He has given his untiring support and acute attention to every sport, every athletic event ever held by this high school. Our athletes have known his encourage- ment, and he has served as a model for them in every respect. Now, in our country's time of need, Mr. Wynne has volunteered his services to our armed forces. There is no doubt that everyone in Bangor High School will miss him next year. But we know that he will devote himself to his duty as a soldier with the same zeal which distinguished him as a teacher. We are sure that Bangor's loss will be our coun- try's gain. 9555?-7 Favs
